Painting
Oh paint...How I lothe thee, how colors and textures create so much and flee so soon. I have a love/hate relationship with painting. I believe I can understand why painters seem to be wild after decades of painting. The wonderful struggle to capture all that we see with this medium can be a difficult one. However, when we do beautiful imagery can arise from the canvas's slumber.

Photography has been more of the hobby in my art career. I take photos mostly for reference material. But I have a fond passion for great clouds and skies, also water flows in streams and rivers.

Web Development
The Art of Code and I'm loving it. Since the dawn of the internet I have enjoyed finding worlds, cultures and a vast amount of information. I enjoy being a student to new ideas. When our technology became more accessible to go anywhere I became more interested in how I can make my art an experience. So I began to teach myself code for the Web. Focusing on my strengths as a Visual Artist, most of my time is spent making sure that I'm learning as much as I can to build sites that rock and perform well on all devices. I am a follower of the ideas of Adaptive Design and Mobile First along with making sure everyone has the ability to find the information within a web-site. So if you have a screen reader give it a shot and let me know how I'm doing.

Yea I have to stick my hands into everything these days. Graphic Design has been something of a hobby and now sometimes my job for a client. I think that computers are a great tool to use for Visual Arts. The programs that are now available are amazing mediums to work with. I find that I cannot learn enough to keep me comfortable when everyone is having an amazing human experience.
